Amazed by local skills
I noticed that now I really must write a separate post about a few awesome local businesses. A week ago, we hosted an event on entrepreneurship, motivation and innovation during this time.
As a small association, we needed partners to offer our speakers something local, high quality, and useful to take home. I chose these companies because I've used their products. Those always meet my expectations, and I was sure that those would be perfect to our lovely guests. I must admit that I was very skeptical that I would get any company to support such a small association event. However, I was completely wrong. Now I know that entrepreneurs in this area are like old time neighbors, they always have the doors open and they are willing to listen like an old friend.
Every company I contacted wanted to co-operate with us. We are still extremely grateful for this. These companies are doing a great job and I want to highlight their amazing products:
This popular coffee and lunch heaven is full of delicious combinations of great flavors. If you haven’t visited yet, you should put it on your check list. Flavors are their own and you won't find it anywhere else.
If you want take break at summer time, this is the place to visit. Wanha Markki is an ”animals' rest house”. In this place you don’t even remember the word ”rush”. These animals were ready to retire, and this is perfect place for them. If you want to stay longer, it’s possible to visit their shop which is full of art, beauty and intoxicating scents.
They really know what has to survive through the decades while maintaining hope and vision. All their flavors have been local and traditional since 1920. Their homemade food reminds me of the scents of Grandma’s kitchen.
This young and already internationally noticed company has brought a fresh, contemporary image of the brewery culture. Their management during last spring was inspiring.
If you understand what quality and timeless decor is, you should check this out. There is surely something beautiful just for you. You will not be disappointed.
My internship has opened up a lot of things about entrepreneurship and way of thinking. We have a huge community of entrepreneurs here and as an event manager, I’m proud of doing this work in this area.
